Double positioning lasers

Dual Lasers in FIAB machines are designed to precisely align the material with the electrode before the high-frequency welding process begins.

Their main benefits include:

Accurate weld positioning – two laser lines indicate exactly where the weld will be made.
Faster material alignment – operators can position the material without performing trial welds or manually measuring distances.
Reduced risk of errors – minimizes material misalignment and incorrect weld placement.

Why two lasers instead of one?

Two lasers mark both edges of the electrode (or two reference points), allowing the operator to clearly see:

the full width of the working area,
the exact position of the electrode along its entire length,
whether the material is aligned parallel to the weld line.

This is particularly useful for:

welding long, straight seams,
creating overlap welds,
manufacturing banners, tarpaulins, architectural membranes, tents, and keder products.

In practice, Double Positioning Lasers significantly reduce setup time while improving welding accuracy, resulting in higher productivity, greater process consistency, and fewer production errors.
