FIAB SHUTTLE TABLE is a high-frequency (HF) welding machine designed for the precise welding of complex, three-dimensional shapes. Equipped with a large press with a working area adapted to the specific product requirements and two automatic shuttle tables, it provides high productivity, excellent repeatability, and enhanced operator comfort.
The large working area allows the use of electrodes in virtually any shape, enabling even complex components to be welded in a single cycle, without the need for repeated repositioning or manual handling of the material.
The FIAB SHUTTLE TABLE has been developed for products whose geometry requires the electrode to precisely match the entire shape of the component being welded.
The individually designed press allows the use of large, custom-made electrodes with irregular shapes. The material can be accurately positioned on the worktable and then welded in a single cycle.
This eliminates the need to manually reposition the material between individual welding operations, resulting in:
greater welding precision,
millimeter-level repeatability,
shorter production times,
reduced risk of operator error,
higher overall product quality.
The FIAB SHUTTLE TABLE is equipped with two automatic shuttle tables that alternately move into the welding area beneath the press.
While one table is in the welding zone, the operator can prepare the material on the second worktable. Once the welding cycle is completed, the tables automatically switch positions.
This solution significantly increases productivity compared with machines equipped with a single worktable.
Depending on the application, both tables can also be used to produce two different products. Each workstation can be configured for a different task, increasing the flexibility of the production process.
One of the key advantages of the FIAB SHUTTLE TABLE is the ability to use a dedicated electrode precisely matched to the shape of the product.
Instead of performing several consecutive welding operations and manually repositioning the material, the operator can place the entire component under the press and complete the weld in a single cycle.
This solution is particularly valuable for products with irregular, closed, or three-dimensional shapes, where conventional solutions require multiple welding operations.
The large table surface allows the material to be accurately positioned and securely held in place before the welding process begins.
